FORMAT
Skaters will race each distance (1500m, 1000m, 500m)
The top five skaters with the most overall points qualify to
represent United States at the next four World Cups (Montreal, Quebec City,
Changchun, Shanghai).
A sixth skater will be selected by a committee (new this year),
based on criteria set by the committee.
Olympic skaters missing from this competition from the US Olympic

Apolo Anton Ohno has not officially retired yet but not actively
skating right now
JR Celski currently pursuing
opportunities back home in Washington
Jordan Malone had surgery on his ACL and is currently
recovering, while taking going to school at NMU
Women
Allison Baver has not officially
retired yet but not actively skating right now
